There is no response from anyone at Heart that can placate the slow grinding-down of a cheesed-off client, so don’t bother Heart…you cannot deny any of the following or put your “customer care” spin on. Please let this be a warning to everyone, use a modern company not owned by a corporate sugar daddy (no pun intended). Let’s just summarise the key points. Domain fees often 100% more expensive that competitors (trust me they are): A website that we can’t remember being updated/overhauled for over 10 years (at least) which is also slower than 1990’s dial-up speeds: Website UX experience from that period too with systems that are overly complicated and difficult to comprehend (unless you know what you are doing): Transferring a domain elsewhere is hidden with technical jargon (albeit accurate) and laced with a tinge of fear if god forbid, you do so, to stop you from leaving and when you do complete the transfer there is no email or website notification to confirm this has taken place, they provide you with a whois.com link to check (which anyone can do) only when you ask for confirmation (pathetic): You cannot call anyone and speak to a real person, it’s been like that for many years – they even shutdown their international number a few years ago and now funnel people to their ticketing system (even in support chat!) as much as possible. All this and I could go on more are some of the reasons consumers turn-off and go elsewhere. Look around, there are infinitely better companies out there, seriously…there are!”
